The site at Mount Pleasant in Islington, London, has undergone many years of change since the first Post Office Building was constructed in 1889, following the demolition of the Coldbath Fields Prison.

Mount Pleasant will comprise five residential blocks ranging from 6 to 15 storeys, constructed over a basement with complex substructures due to the existence of the original postal rail tunnels underground.

As well as delivering a total of 370 residential units, the project includes public realm landscaping and an underground residential car-park.

The façade package will be completed by Walsin Ltd, who are installing the OBEX CORTEX Class B Membrane system, as part of the specification.
